Noida News | A case of misappropriation of Rs 32 crore has come to light in a Sector-63 company. The Goods and Services Tax (GST) department has deposited Rs 5.50 crore from the company. Also, the balance amount is being investigated. The company was raided on Friday, but its report is now complete.
Reported by Amar Ujala – According to Darpan Amravanshi, Joint Commissioner, Central GST Noida, information was received from the company about recovery of money (ITC) by showing fake bills of Rs 15 crore and evasion of GST of Rs 17 crore. When the officials of Custom and Central GST Zone Meerut raided the company on Friday, the disturbance came to light.

CGST Noida Principal Commissioner Renu Jagdev said that the company supplies employees to many companies. The company has a turnover of crores of rupees. The company was raided after the company got intelligence about tax evasion and collection of ITC by making fake bills. He said that the company used to file GSTR-1 but did not file GSTR-3B return.
