Ghaziabad – Video of killing dog goes viral, ASI apologizes
A video of a policeman in uniform beating dogs in Rajendra Nagar Sector 5 had gone viral. The policeman was said to be an ASI in Delhi Police. After taking cognizance by People for Animals, now the ASI has released the video and apologized for the entire incident.
People for Animals Ghaziabad President Surabhi Rawat said that in the past, a video of dogs beating with sticks and stones from Rajendra Nagar Sector-5 had gone viral. When that video was investigated, the accused was in police uniform. His posting was reported to be in Delhi, though he did not confirm it. After this he started the process of registering a case against the policeman. Surbhi Rawat says that after getting information about the action, the policeman has released the video and apologized for the whole incident, in which he says that he will not kill any animal with a stick or stone in future. After this, Surabhi Rawat has apprised the senior officials of the institution about the matter.
