Cyber thugs can empty your bank account in the name of showing movies. The police have appealed to the people to be careful not to click on any kind of link on their mobile or computer-laptop. Some verbal complaints have been received by the police.
Online Fraud by Spam Links
Noida Zone ADCP Ranvijay Singh has warned about this by tweeting. He has written that be careful, be alert, hackers can vacate your account by sending a link to the name of the film Kashmir Files. Please forward this message and help everyone to be alert.
The ADCP said that in the recent past, there have been several incidents of cyber forgery by sending links. Meanwhile, some people have complained that a link is being sent to them in the name of Kashmir Files movie. Cyber security is in caution. After this, ADCP has appealed to the people not to open any kind of link.
How to Protect yourself from cyber fraud
- Delete the link sent from unknown number and block the number.
- Do not share any information on the call of any unknown person.
Do not share your account number, OTP and PIN number with anyone at all. - Keep changing the password of your Gmail, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram etc.
Be careful during Google search, go to the website of the person you are searching during Google search. - Do not click on unknown links of any kind.
