The body of a 35-year-old woman was found locked in a plastic bag on Saturday morning on Sterilization Tiraha Sabzi Mandi Road. His face was burnt with acid. There were injury marks at many places on the body. It seemed that he was first brutally beaten, then after strangulation, acid was poured on his face to hide his identity.
The police showed the dead body to the people around, but no one could identify it. It is believed that the dead body was brought from somewhere else and thrown here. The purse was found with the woman. It had a bus ticket from Baghpat to Loni. It is being speculated that the woman may be from Baghpat. Loni Border Police Station has sent a photo of the woman to Delhi and Baghpat police along with Ghaziabad. Most of the injury marks were on the hand. Police believe that it may also happen that the woman was beaten up with her hands tied. The police have kept the body at the mortuary for 72 hours.
If identification is not possible within this period, then the last rites will be performed in unknown. The border of Delhi is only a short distance from the sterilization colony. There is also a possibility that the body was brought from Delhi and thrown here. In Delhi, many cases of being murdered and thrown in the Loni area have come to the fore in the past.
Police believe that robbery is not the reason behind the murder. Ornaments were found on the body of the woman. These are worth lakhs of rupees. If looting was the motive, the killer would have robbed them too.
