Ghaziabad – 2 Women Died while crossing Railway line at Dadri
The Devrani-Jethani , who was crossing the railway line under Dadri ROB on the Delhi-Howrah railway line, was hit by a train on Wednesday morning. Both the women died on the spot. Both were going on duty in a private company based in Devla. Harnam and his brother Naresh, originally residents of Bahadurpur in Etawah, live with the family on rent in Tulsi Vihar Colony of Dadri.
Naresh’s wife Munni Devi (41) and Harnam’s wife Sarvesh Devi (43) used to work in a cardboard manufacturing company. On Wednesday, both of them had left the house together on foot to go for duty as usual.
Munni Devi’s sari got stuck in the tracks while crossing the railway line on foot from under Dadri ROB. Meanwhile, Sealdah Express train arrived from Delhi side. Sarvesh Devi also ran to take out Munni Devi. During this, both of them got hit by the train. Police reached after getting information about the incident. After identification, the family members were informed. For about three years, both used to go on duty together. GRP sub-inspector says that the bodies were sent for post-mortem.
Husband arrested for abetment to suicide
Surajpur Kotwali Police has arrested the accused husband for abetting the wife to commit suicide. According to the police, Meena, a resident of the town, had a dispute with her husband Bunty on the night of August 29. After this Meena committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance. On Monday morning, Meena’s father accused husband Bunty of killing her daughter.
