Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath order to investigate in the emerald building case, the file of irregularities in the construction of 40-storey twin tower of Emerald Court project of Noida Sector-93A has been opened for investigation. The committee of ACEO of the authority is investigating the matter. After this the report will be sent to the government. At the same time, after the investigation, the Chief Minister has ordered to run criminal cases against the guilty officers if needed. It has also been said to constitute a special inquiry committee at the government level in the matter, so that better investigation can be done.

In the order on Tuesday, the Supreme Court had spoken of a nexus between the builder and the authority. After this the officers became active from Noida to Lucknow. Taking cognizance of the matter, the Chief Minister himself ordered an inquiry. The authority has engaged a joint committee of ACEO Neha Sharma and ACEO Praveen Kumar Mishra in the investigation.

At the same time, after the order of the Chief Minister, this committee has been asked for a quick inquiry. Preliminary report to be submitted in four to five days. In this, prima facie, the officers involved in the Emerald Court case have to be identified. Also at what levels did the shortcomings occur? This information also has to be collected. In this regard, files are being sought from the departments and scrutinized.

The Supreme Court in its order has ordered the demolition of the 40-storey twin tower of Sector-93A Supertech Emerald Court. It will be demolished by the Central Building Research Institute (CBRI). At the same time, now the debate has started on how such tall buildings will be demolished. In this regard, experts say that with the help of blast technology, it can be dropped in seven seconds. It may also take 10 months to drop it manually.
