An Attempts have been made to dupe many officers in the name of Muniraj ji on whatsapp profile. Gift coupons were asked by sending a message to many officers by putting a photo of him. On being suspicious, when the officers called the SSP and asked, the whole matter got exposed. Cybercrime cell is probing the matter.
On Thursday, SP City Nipun Aggarwal got a message from an unknown number. In it SSP Muniraj ji on WhatsApp’s DP. The photo was attached. The fraudster asked SP City where are you at this time. Seeing the new number of SSP, SP City also got dizzy. When he immediately called the SSP and informed about the developments, he flatly refused to send any such message or use any other number.
Two days ago there was an attempt to cheat in the name of GDA VC
Fraudsters are taking recourse to the names of police-administrative officers posted in the district to dupe people. About one and a half months ago, GDA VC and DM were pressurized to get the map of the hotel passed by becoming judges of the High Court and Supreme Court. Two days ago, an attempt was made to cheat in the name of GDA VC. Now the fraudsters tried to cheat in the name of SSP of the district.
