Noida – The team of UP STF has arrested Harish Khan, a rewarded crook of 25 thousand with the help of Kotwali Sector-20 police in Noida, on the night of 23 November. Harish Khan is close to the Mumbai blast mastermind and D Company’s infamous Abu Salem and Ambedkar Nagar’s notorious criminal Zafar Supari- Khan Mubarak. Harish Khan has many cases registered against him in property dealing fraud, extortion and grabbing. Police have recovered a pistol and three live cartridges from Harish Khan.
ASP Rajkumar Mishra of Noida unit of UP STF said that some time back the police had arrested Gajendra Singh resident of village Morna, Noida in this regard. Gajendra Singh and Harish Khan used to carry out criminal incidents together. During interrogation of Gajendra Singh, the police had come to know that Harish Khan is going to come to Noida Sector 20 area on 23 November.
As soon as the information was received, the STF and the police team reached the spot and arrested Harish Khan from near Labor Chowk. During the arrest, a 315 bore pistol and three live cartridges were recovered from the accused.
The team of Noida unit of STF was looking for Harish Khan for a long time. Kotwali Sector 20 police had also announced a reward of Rs 25,000 on Harish Khan.
