The factions clashed during the tricolor yatra in Bangla Bazar Ashiana on Monday. Soon the stone-pelting started. A youth of a group was injured in stone pelting. Both the groups were taking out the tricolor yatra. During this they came face to face.
According to DCP East Prachi Singh, a group was going towards Telibagh with a tricolor yatra. At the same time, the other group was going towards Ashiyana. On the way the two sides clashed.
In the investigation, it was found that the group of Sonu Rawat, who was in jail, had pelted stones on the other side. A youth named Ravi was injured in the attack. A large number of police forces reached the spot after getting information about the ruckus. Two vehicles were found damaged at the spot, which were seized by the police.
Joint Commissioner of Police Law and Order went to Ashiana police station and inquired about the matter. Police have registered an FIR against Saurabh alias Bhuri, Faizan, Mangal Rawat, Dilip, Vishal, Aryan Rawat, Barun, Vipin Kanojia, Abhishek and Rahan Rangbaz and others on the complaint of Aayush.
The police have taken several people into custody. According to Ayush, he had left Telibagh with his companions in support of the local MLA’s tricolor yatra. During this time he was attacked. There are many cases registered against the accused in the past as well. Three teams have been formed to arrest the accused. Police are raiding the possible hideouts.

The shopkeepers started running after closing the shops. It is alleged that the attackers had also brought iron rods and weapons. Some goods of shopkeepers were also damaged in stone pelting.
