Noida police arrested a woman who brutally thrashed the e-rickshaw driver when the car of an e-rickshaw hit a slight side in the market located in Sector-110 of Phase II Kotwali area of Noida. The accused woman has been identified as Kiran Singh of Shramik Kunj of Kotwali area.
Video went viral on internet media
The video of the incident which took place on Friday evening went viral on various platforms of internet media on Saturday. In the viral video, the woman is seen slapping the rickshaw driver with lewd abuses. In the video, the woman slapped a total of 17 rickshaw pullers one after the other.
Mithun Chaudhary, the driver living in Sector-82, has complained about the matter to the concerned Kotwali police. After the arrest, the police produced the accused woman before the court.
Keeping all the aspects in mind, the Kotwali police is investigating the matter. A case has been registered against the woman under other sections including assault. The woman is said to be a member of the Mahila Morcha of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
