Noida | A youth resident of Sector-54, working in an IT company, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself on Saturday night. The youth had also posted a suicide note on his social media account before he died. In this suicide note, apart from the in-laws of his other religion, he has also accused the inspector posted in a police station of harassment. After the incident, on the complaint of his father, the police registered a case and started investigation.
Aligarh resident Satyendra Singh is posted in a government department in Noida and lives in Noida with his family. While filing a complaint at Sector-24 police station, he alleged that his 24-year-old son Mohit had married a girl of another religion living in Sector-24 police station area. The girl was an adult and worked in an IT company. It was there that the two met. After marriage, both of them went to Jaipur. It is accused that after marriage, the girl’s family forcibly brought her to Noida with them.
Mohit went to the police several times to bring his wife back home and kept pleading with the in-laws to send her too. It is alleged that her in-laws did not send her and also threatened her.
