The PCB had expressed the possibility of reduction in pollution in the city from December 26. But instead of increasing the wind speed decreased. The wind in the atmosphere decreased at a speed of 7 kilometers per hour to 3 kilometers per hour. On Saturday, where the city’s pollution was measured at 393, it increased by 36 points to 429. This made people feel short of breath. The problem persisted due to the absence of light sunlight throughout the day. However, due to light drizzle around 7 in the evening, pollution can be recorded on Monday.

Pollution records show that apart from Indirapuram and Loni, the situation in Sanjay Nagar has become critical. Here the pollution level has crossed 400. The worst condition is in the Loni area, in which the Air Quality Index has been recorded at 495 in the very severe category.
