Noida News – Lost Lemons of Noida Garden Galleria Mall; IT professional Brijesh Kumar was murdered in a restaurant bar late on Monday night. Brijesh Kumar’s wife Pooja Rai spoke to the media late in the evening. Pooja has asked many questions to the Noida Police and Brijesh’s friends. She said, “I want to know what was the mistake of my husband that he was murdered.”
Pooja also said, “I have not been informed about this incident by the police. When Brijesh did not return home in the night, I kept on calling here and there in trouble. I came to know about the murder after talking to colleagues and friends in his company. then i went to the hospital.
Pooja, a teacher at DPS School in Sector-132, said that she was living with her husband and children. Husband Brijesh went to party with office friends Sumit, Bikram, Anjali etc., but all the friends hide the incident. When he did not come till 12 pm, he dialed the phone, but the number was switched off.
Garden Galleria Mall is becoming an arena of fight
There are dozens of pubs and restro bars in the mall. Here one or two incidents of violence take place every day. On Monday night itself, there was a misbehavior with an officer in a bar in the Garden Galleria. Two days before this, there was a fight between the two parties at the gate.
Pub operator absconding, police checking CCTV
The owner of the Lost Lemons pub at Garden Galleria Mall is Luv Dhingra, who is absconding after the incident. He has not contacted the police yet. The police have sealed the recording room of the pub. This room has CCTV control and DVR etc. A police team is examining the CCTV footage installed around the spot.
The ruckus that started over the bill reached to the murder.
After the party, the bar management made a bill of Rs 7,400. There was a dispute between the management, Brijesh and his co-workers regarding this. It is alleged that the bouncers started beating Brijesh along with his associates. Brijesh was thrashed to death by the bouncers inside the mall. In a hurry, Brijesh’s companions took him to the hospital. The doctors declared him brought dead. ADCP Ranvijay Singh said that a case of murder has been registered on the complaint of Brijesh’s colleague Ankita.
Police have detained 16 people including 8 bouncers. Brijesh is survived by his wife Pooja, 5-year-old son Sarthak and 3-year-old daughter Bhuvika. Wife Pooja Rai is a teacher in DPS School located in Sector-135. ADCP says that the people of the bar management are being interrogated by taking them into custody.
