Noida – In an encounter with the police, a rewarded cow smuggler of 25 thousand got shot. Police arrested him and admitted him to the district hospital. The miscreant injured in the encounter near Jaipuria Crossing located in Sector-62 late on Monday evening has been identified as Sonu Kasai, a resident of Ghazipur Delhi. The accused was smuggling beef and storing beef for many years.
In retaliation by the police, bike rider Sonu Kasai got shot in the leg. Police said that Sonu’s partner Shekhar was arrested in a police encounter three days ago. There are more than 6 cases registered against the arrested Sonu Butcher. A reward of 25 thousand was declared on him. Bike, pistol and live cartridges have been recovered from the accused. According to the police, another smuggler of the gang, Sajid, is still absconding. He had escaped in a police encounter that took place in Sector-62 three days ago. Police is looking for him too.
