After this, the family members complained to the Kotwali Sector-58 police.
When the police arrested Alam, he pretended to be unconscious. The policemen took him to the district hospital, where he recovered before being admitted. ADCP Ranvijay Singh said that a report has been registered against the accused under the POCSO Act and arrested.
The accused of raping maids or helpers has been arrested by the Kotwali Sector-39 police. The accused had raped two assistants working in his flat. ADCP Ranvijay Singh said that Kotwali Sector-39 Police has arrested Naveen Gupta, a resident of Sector-107 Sunworld Vanalika Society, near Sector-37 on Sunday. The accused had hired the woman as a domestic help to work in his flat.
Later another girl also started working in his flat. In the complaint given to the domestic help police, Naveen Gupta was accused of rape and assault for protesting. The accused used to keep domestic helpers hostage. Naveen is also accused of not paying salary to domestic helpers.
