Noida News | The problem of more than two thousand patients coming to OPD daily in Gims increased from Friday. OPD service for general patients has been stopped here due to the creation of Covid Hospital. Also, five doctors of the hospital and six medical students have been found infected. Class rooms and hostels are being sanitized by getting everyone admitted to gyms. Apart from this, 17 people have been found infected in 12th Avenue of Gaur City. 82 people were screened here.
Director of GIMS, Brigadier Dr Rakesh Kumar Gupta said that the pace of infection is very fast. It is necessary to take precautions to avoid this. GIMS has been declared as a Covid Hospital. Here OPD service has been stopped for general patients with immediate effect. Only Covid patients will be treated here. On Friday, 15 patients have been admitted to GIMS. These include five doctors, six students and other patients including a child.
In view of the increasing infection, Gims has been declared as a Covid Hospital. Infected patients have started coming here. OPD has been closed for general patients.
