The payment of all the dues and future liability of the authority will be done online only. The authority has stopped offline payment from Wednesday. However, the facility of online as well as offline payment will continue for farmers, allottees of residential plots of size less than 200 square meters and industrial plots of size less than 400 square meters. CEO Narendra Bhushan said that offline payment facility will be available for these allottees, but online payment will be encouraged.
Actually, there are more than one lakh allottees under the authority and there are more than 80 items in which the allottees deposit the payment. These items include many items including allocation and installment amount. These allottees have to go to the bank to deposit the outstanding amount. There, four copy challans have to be filled and deposited in the banks.
After depositing the money, the bank returns a copy of the challan to the authority and an allottee. This invoice has to be kept with you. Sometimes the challan has to be shown in case of non-conformity of outstanding payment. Time is also spent in commuting to and from the allottee’s bank for depositing the dues and also having to stand in the queue.
To solve these problems, the CEO of the Authority, Narendra Bhushan, had already started the online payment (e-payment and online service) system to promote digital payment under Digital India, but now it has been fully implemented. has been done.
