Delhi – Delhi Government has issued two notices to CPWD today regarding the construction of Central Vista Project. Both these notices have been sent for violating pollution rules, which has been informed by Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai.
Gopal Rai has told that, many people were getting calls from me since morning that work is going on on Central Vista, so we have inspected here. He further said that despite the construction work being stopped all over Delhi, work is going on here.
The Environment Minister said, “In this regard, on behalf of DPCC, we are issuing notice to CPWD to explain that by whose order this work is going on and on what basis the work has been continued.”
He also told that he has given the second notice because the violation of dust norms is visible even when the work is going on. Water is being sprinkled on the main road, but the dust has settled on the link road, so a total of two notices are being given, they will have to reply by tomorrow.
