NOIDA NEWS – Dr. Sanjay Sharma, Dean of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Department of Gautam Buddha University (GBU), was attacked with sticks and hockey. In the incident that took place some distance from the university campus late on Monday evening, the assailants broke the glass of his car. Kasna Kotwali police and other professors of GBU, who reached the information, have admitted them to GIMS. In the complaint given by the dean on behalf of the cousin, the former female assistant professor of GBU, her husband and others have been accused of stopping the car from three sides and attacking with sticks and hockey. The police have currently registered a case of non-cognizable offense (NCR). It has also been said that an FIR will be registered on the basis of the medical report.
Dr. Sanjay Kumar Sharma, Dean of ICT Department at GBU resides in the University Campus. Dr. Sanjay’s cousin Ajay Sharma has said in the complaint given in Kasna Kotwali that on March 21, at 7:30 pm, Dr. Sanjay Kumar was returning from his house to the GBU campus. In front of the Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS), his car was hit by a car from behind. It is alleged that after this former GBU Assistant Professor Dr. Sandhya Tarar, husband Shekhar Singh and others abused and beat Dr. Sanjay. The windows of his car were broken. In the complaint given to the police, he has said that Dean has suffered a lot of injuries in the attack with sticks and hockey. Police was called on the spot. After this he was admitted to the Government Institute of Medical Sciences.
