East Delhi’s AAP councilor Haseeb-al-Hasan jumped into Shastri Park to clear an overflowing drain of sewage. It is understood that he wanted to give the message of being supportive of the common man. But when he came out of the drain, his supporters showered him with milk. In the video shared on social media, he can be seen taking a bath with milk.
However, before this video of him taking a milk bath, videos of him jumping into the drain and cleaning it came to the fore. It is shown in the video that he is standing in the middle of a chest-filled pit drain. He is seen trying to clear the debris. His colleagues are seen assisting in this work from the side of the drain.
AAP’s nominated councilor Hassan later said that the drain was overflowing and repeated complaints to the authorities, BJP councilor and local MLA did not help, so he decided to do the cleaning himself.
Sharing this video of Councilor Hassan landing in the drain on social media, people are writing that Councilor Haseeb Al Hasan himself descended into the drain for cleaning, later the supporters bathed with milk.
