Greater Noida News | A case of looting jewelery worth lakhs has come to light by entering a flat in broad daylight on Tuesday in Gaur City-2 Society of Greater Noida West. On the pretext of asking for drinking water, two miscreants opened the door and terrorized the mother and daughter by showing them knives and looted jewelery worth lakhs of rupees like mangalsutra, gold bangles, rings etc.
After the incident, questions started arising on social media regarding the security of the society and Greno West. At the same time, the police started trying to trace the accused by scanning the CCTV, but even after several hours, no clue was found regarding the miscreants.
According to the police, Abhinav and wife Anita live in a flat at Gaur City Society 12th Avenue with their one-year-old daughter. The couple informed the police that around 12.30 pm, two miscreants tried to open the door of their flat on the pretext of giving polio drops to the girl. But Anita refused to give the girl polio drops. On this the accused said that he was thirsty that he should give him water. When the woman opened the door with pity, the accused forcibly entered the flat.
