In the district, 18 people including four students have test positive corona infection. Now the number of active patients has increased to 44. The number of students infected in five days has increased to 25. Of these, 23 students are from different schools in Ghaziabad, while the other two study in schools in Gautam Budh Nagar and Delhi. In 24 hours 9 people have defeated Corona. Samples of 182 people who came in contact with infected children have been sent for examination. Genome sequencing has been sent for information about the new form of corona in the infected.
Among the students infected on Thursday, two girls are nine and 11 years old. A girl is 16 years old. Two students are 11 and 15 years old. Three children live in Indirapuram, one in Kaushambi and one in Vijay Nagar.
All the patients have been confirmed in private labs. The number of active patients has increased from 26 to 44 in five days.
DSO (District Surveillance Officer) Dr. Rakesh Gupta told that two students had come in contact with the students who were infected earlier. One girl is the sister of the infected student and the other child came in contact with her classmate. Information is being done about the contact of two students with whom they got infected. The DSO said that sanitization is being done in all the schools where the infection has been confirmed on Thursday. The house of infected children will also be sanitized on Friday.
