Ghaziabad News | In the name of checking to stop illegal money in the assembly elections, the UP Police has also started earning. The latest case has come to the fore in Ghaziabad. Policemen recovered Rs 30,000 from a person carrying Rs 3 lakh for daughter’s wedding. On coming to know about the matter, the SSP has suspended 3 policemen including a sub-inspector.
The person was going from Rohtak to Moradabad
SSP Pawan Kumar said that the Static Surveillance Team-1 consists of Sub Inspector Ankit Rathore, Chief Constable Harivan Singh and Constable Ravi Ruhal. Their deployment is near Dasna toll plaza. On January 25, Dilbagh Panchal was going from Rohtak in Haryana to Moradabad with Rs 3 lakh for his daughter’s wedding. Dilbagh told them for what purpose they were taking money. But, the policemen showed them the fear of confiscating the money and took 30 thousand rupees instead of leaving. After this Dilbagh Panchal left from there and then he told the matter to the police officials.
