Ghaziabad – Formula one lover stole two cars of his Brother in Law

A young man was so fond of participating in the Formula One race that he stole two cars of his brother-in-law. After stealing the first car, brother-in-law went with brother-in-law to buy another car. A few days later too was stolen. The accused used to practice at night with the number plate of Delhi. After selling the car, he wanted to buy a sports car. When the police got suspicious after seeing the CCTV footage, then the matter came to the notice. Police arrested the accused and recovered both the cars.

Varun Pathak lives with his family in Vasundhara Sector 3. Last April, an Eco sport car was stolen from the parking lot of his house. Complaint was made to Indirapuram police station. After that he bought a Polo car. It was stolen in October. When he gave a complaint to the police, the police suspected to be around or some acquaintance.

Police got information that in October, a youth Vasundhara with a stolen car was seen at a red light. After which the police started checking. The police caught a young man with a stolen car. During interrogation, he revealed his name as Pulkit Sharma resident of Dayalpur. It was found that he had stolen his brother-in-law’s car. He told during interrogation that he also stole the Eco sport car. On his behest, the police also recovered the Eco sport car.

Dreaming of Formula one Car Racing

Pulkit told that he had to take part in the Formula One race. He needed an expensive car. Planned to steal his brother-in-law’s car to buy an expensive car. He first stole his brother-in-law’s Eco sport car. Before stealing the car, he went to their house and took the impression of the car key. After which he made a fake key of the car and stole it.

After that Pulkit bought brother-in-law a Polo car. Then he also made a fake key of Polo’s car. He went to brother-in-law’s house by cab on 26 October. Instead of going inside the house, he stole the car from the parking lot and fled.

The accused changed its number plate after stealing the car. Putting the number plate of Delhi on the car started driving it. He used to practice race at night when the roads were empty. He was trying to sell both the cars. He had hidden the Eco sport car near Vasundhara Sector 8. The police have recovered both the cars on his behest.
