Ghaziabad News | The long wait for electric buses in Ghaziabad will now end. Union Minister and local MP VK Singh, Rajya Sabha MP Anil Agarwal will start e-bus service by flagging off five electric buses from the Collectorate at 6 pm on Tuesday. It has been prepared.
The start of this bus service was postponed, but on Monday, in a hurry, Divisional Commissioner Surendra Singh reached Ghaziabad and held a meeting with DM, Municipal Commissioner, RM Roadways and other officers involved in the SPV. He decided to start the bus service from Tuesday. In the first phase, there was a plan to put 15 buses on the city roads, but at present, e-bus service will be started by leaving 5 buses.
Features of Electric buses
28 seater e-buses will be low-floor. Air-conditioned buses will also have a panic button for the safety of women. These panic buttons will be connected to the police control room. Apart from this, CCTV cameras will also be installed. The minimum fare for these buses will be Rs 10 and the maximum fare will be Rs 40.
