This raises the question of how a district-level criminal can be campaigning on the ticket of AAP. When someone is declared a district-level criminal, they have multiple cases pending against them. That’s when the police declare them as district-level criminals. However, this status is only valid for a period of 6 months.

Selection is done through a screening committee, it is possible that the nomination was done on the last day. If any such case has come up, we will inform our party’s high officials.
