Delhi News | Are you Looking for admission in Nursery, KG and Class I in the capital Delhi, schools have issued marks on their respective websites. Parents can start preparing for the admission race by seeing the marks of their children. In this regard, the list of the first phase of admission will be released on February 4, under which children will get admission in more than 1700 schools of Delhi.

Actually, the process for admission started last month. Under this, the application was to be made by January 7. But, due to the third wave of corona infection, the last date of admission was extended to January 21. After this, by January 24, the schools had to release the marks for admission. But, by January 28, this process has been completed. Now the first list of admission will be released on February 4.

Children with 90 to 100 marks are more likely to be admitted

According to the official of the teachers union, most of the schools have released the marks. Under this, the distance from school to home along with other parameters have been included. There is a possibility that the children having marks between 90 to 100 are more likely to get admission. However, children with low marks may be placed on a waiting list. This time around 1600 out of more than 1700 schools have followed the rules of the Directorate of Education, while more than 50 schools have not followed the rules.

EWS category will get admission next month

According to the Directorate of Education, along with the admission process for 75 per cent seats, 25 per cent seats for EWS category will be admitted. The admission for this is likely to start in the second week of February. However, for this a separate notification will be issued by the Delhi government.
