VP Khalid dies: Senior film, TV serial actor VP Khalid passed away at the shooting location itself. Khalid died of a heart attack on Friday in Vaikom, near Kottayam. VP Khalid was working on an untitled film by Tovino Thomas and died of a cardiac arrest during the shoot. Khalid, 70, was shooting for Jude Antony’s new project. His death has spread mourning in the Malayalam cinema world.
According to the information, Khalid went to the toilet after having breakfast at the shooting location. When he did not return for some time, others went in search of him and found him there in an unconscious state. Despite being taken to a nearby hospital, doctors declared him brought dead.
Khalid was an extremely popular stage actor and worked with Alleppey Theaters for a long time. Later he started doing small roles in films and became a famous actor after acting in TV serials. His three sons- Shaiju, Jimshi and director Khalid Rehman are also active in the film industry.
