Manish Gupta Murder Case: Inspector and sub-inspector arrested for murder

Uttar Pradesh | In the Manish Gupta murder case, the absconding inspector and sub-inspector have been arrested by the UP police. A reward of one lakh was kept on them. Both of them were arrested by the police after raiding a hotel in Gorakhpur. Police Inspector Jagat Narayan Singh and Sub Inspector Akshay Mishra were on the run since the allegations were made in the death of Manish Gupta. After several days of search, both of them were finally caught by the police.

Manish, a resident of Kanpur, went to Gorakhpur with his friends on the night of 27 September and was staying in a hotel. There the police brutally beat up Manish and his friends in the name of checking, in which Manish died due to the beating. A case of murder has been registered against six policemen in this case.

These policemen were accused earlier also

According to the information received from the sources, hunger for money made both the policemen murderers. In most of the complaints that came to the police station, GN Singh was accused of recovery. GN Singh has been openly accused in the matter of land grabbing or vacating.

Many of their complaints went even to the CM. From there, action was also called for, but in the name of investigation, the action was suppressed. During the tenure of GN Singh, there was a lot of discussion about three cases of land dispute. Archana Singh, wife of Satish Singh, resident of Ramjanki Nagar, had given an application on June 15 in the CM office located at Gorakhpur temple.

It was alleged that whenever she used to go for construction on her land which had gone to Ramgarhtal area, some people used to beat her laborers and drive them away. During that time the same policemen were posted in Ramgarh Tal police station. In this case, he was accused of supporting criminals for money.
