Uttar Pradesh – The Yogi Adityanath government decided to provide a 3-month free ration in UP to every person who has a ration card.
Additional Chief Secretary Renuka Kumar gave this information here today. He said that in order to provide immediate relief to the poor and needy due to the circumstances arising out of Covid-19, a ration of three months (June, July, and August) will be made available free of cost to all ration cardholders. He said that the decision has been taken by the government to provide ration to the people whose non-ration cards have not been made, by running campaigns and making ration cards to them immediately.

She has instructed all the seniors and District Magistrates that free ration distribution to all ration cardholders in Uttar Pradesh will be done from the departmental budget allocated to the Department of Fertilizers and Logistics. Therefore, providing ration to all ration cardholders through the public distribution system of the Food and Logistics Department for three months, June, July, and August, besides making ration cards by running campaigns to eligible persons whose ration cards are not made immediately. Be sure to provide ration.
