Firozabad – 36 children & 5 adults have died due to dengue & other suspected disease

In Firozabad district, 15 children have died due to dengue and viral fever in 24 hours. Of these, seven children have died on Wednesday and till 3 pm on Thursday, eight children have died. The outbreak of the disease has caused panic in the district.

About 70 patients have lost their lives in the district. Most of them are children. DM Chandra Vijay Singh has issued an advisory to prevent dengue and other infectious diseases spreading in the district. Along with this, he himself is going to the streets and localities to make people aware about the prevention of diseases.

The DM said that to drive away the mosquitoes, use cream, aerosol, spray etc. Use mosquito net while sleeping and use paracetamol medicine in case of fever. On Thursday, the DM made people aware by going to the streets and localities. He said that do not allow water to accumulate in and around your house. If the child is sick in the house, first of all give him paracetamol. Do not give him high power medicine at all. He said that with precaution, diseases can be prevented.

Firozabad Government Medical College – We’ve conducted an ELISA test on 27 patients of which 22 tested positive for dengue. We’re also conducting COVID tests of patients & so far they all tested negative: Dr Sangeeta Aneja, Principal.
