Why RC cancelled in Noida for 10 years old diesel or petrol vehicles?
The officials said that the RC’s validity of as many as 12,200 vehicles has expired now. They informed that the owners of such vehicles were continuously sent notices but they didn’t apply for a ‘No Objection Certificate’ (NOC). The uniform PUC Certificate will be issued across the country, under Central Motor Vehicle Rules 1989.
This order is applicable to all those vehicles to which Noida Administration has repeatedly sent fitness notices and their owners have not responded to that notice. You can drive to drive vehicles older than 10 years, but for that, you will have to get a fitness and no objection certificate again.
