Noida News | To improve women’s safety and to check crime, pink police booths will be set up in the district. Also, these booths will also have pink vehicles to help women. The police prepared the proposal and the work of marking the locations for the pink booth has been started. Women will be able to complain about any kind of problems in these booths. Women policemen will take quick action and give them a safe environment. It will be monitored by senior police officers.

Under the Safe City Project by the Ministry of Home Affairs, pink booths will be built in many cities of the country for women’s safety. Its preparation is going on in the district also. Such places are being identified where there is more movement of women. Only women policemen will be deployed by making booths here. All cases related to crime against women will be resolved in the booth. The police has almost prepared the model of the pink booth. There will be all kinds of communication channels necessary for the police. Also, there will be arrangements for first aid from rest room, washroom, complaint room, kitchen to the victim woman. Pink booths will be arranged from Noida, Greater Noida and Greater Noida West areas to highways and expressways.
