During the investigation, nine people were found involved in the murder of Brijesh, father of two young children, resident of Hasanpur village in Chhapra district of Bihar.

Brijesh was seriously injured during the brawl and was taken to a nearby hospital.

Additional DCP (Noida) Ranvijay Singh said, “He died during treatment.”

The beating was so brutal that the autopsy report of the deceased gave a head injury as the cause of death.

The police had registered an FIR on Tuesday at Noida’s Sector 39 police station under sections 302 (punishment for murder) and 34 (act done with common intention) of the Indian Penal Code.

Singh said that of the remaining two accused, one has been identified, while the other is yet to be traced.

“Both are absconding,” the officer said.

A day earlier, the bar management had denied any involvement in the case. Meanwhile, the bar has been sealed.
