Noida News India – A group of Noida Police struck 12 spa habitats working at the Wave Mall in Noida Sector 18 on Wednesday and captured 14 men and kept 14 ladies (Noida Sex Racket Busted) for running a sex racket for the sake of the ‘spa focus’.
The Uttar Pradesh Police busted an alleged sex racket in a raid conducted on Wednesday night at a busy Noida mall on Sector 18.
The raid was conducted in the spas at the mall and owners and customers have been arrested, as many as 14 girls were rescued.
DCP Rajesh S said that the police had been receiving complaints for a long time that unethical activities were taking place at Ananda Spa Centre, situated inside the Wave Mall in Sector 18, Noida.
Police raided all the 12 ‘spa centres’ at Wave Mall on Wednesday evening. DCP Rajesh S said that the Ananda Spa Centre was running a prostitution racket. The police have found used condoms among other incriminating objects.
In its inquiry, it has been found that the ‘customers’ who visited the apparent ‘spa center’ paid Rs 5,000-6,000 each. Police have recovered mobile phones, laptops, and other objectionable items from the establishment.
He added, “We are considering the girls to be victims. They will be sent to rehabilitation centers while the customers and spa owners will be booked under the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act.
