Noida City – Uttar Pradesh government has taken an important decision due to the counting of panchayat election votes. In Noida section 144 extend till 12 May by the Uttar Pradesh government.

Issuing the order, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Shraddha Narendra Pandey said weekend curfews from 8 pm on Fridays to 7 am on Tuesdays and the daily night curfews from 8 pm till 7 am the next day would continue as it is during this period.

Why Noida Section 144 extend till 12 May?

“restrictions under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure till May 12 citing law and order situation over counting of panchayat election votes and some festivals in the coming days, according to an order.”

Some of the important points :-

  • No person will go on a strike demonstration without the permission of the competent officer, nor will anyone motivate anyone to do so.
  • Shopping complex, Cinema Hall, Bar, Gyms and religious places will not be opened.
  • In order to prevent the effects of corona infection, every Friday evening from 8:00 am to 7:00 am Tuesday in the period of coronavirus and every other arrangement from 8:00 am to 7:00 am the next day government services and necessary traffic of any kind other than services and goods will be restricted.
