Noida News | During investigation, Kotwali Sector-58 police recovered 32 boxes of Haryana Marka liquor from a luxury car near karl Huber School located in Sector-62 on Tuesday. The police have arrested four smugglers in the car. Noida Zone ADCP Ranvijay Singh said that the accused were identified as Rahul, a resident of Wajidpur, Ravi, a resident of Govindpuram, Ghaziabad, Rajkumar, a resident of Bulandshahr, and Surendra, a resident of Vinod Nagar, Delhi.
The value of the seized liquor is said to be around Rs 3.50 lakh. It is feared that liquor was to be consumed in the assembly elections. It has come to know that 13 cases have been registered against Rahul in different police stations of Noida-NCR. Police is investigating.
Kotwali Expressway Police has arrested a smuggler with around 3 kg of ganja. The accused was identified as Rinku Yadav, a resident of Nawada. Rinku is originally from Mahuvan in Mainpuri.
