Noida – District Magistrate Suhas LY has ordered an inquiry in the case of land scam worth billions of rupees by grabbing the land belonging to the Scheduled Castes and the landless in Chithera village. Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Nitin Madan will investigate the matter.
However, the Special Task Force (STF) is already probing the matter from the police side. It is alleged that in this land scam, officials, politicians and land mafia together have done a scam of billions.
A person resident of Loni Ghaziabad had complained to the Director General of Police, Uttar Pradesh Mukul Goyal about the Chithera land scam. The allotment of government land was done in the name of scheduled caste and landless people in the village. The eyes of the land mafia fell on the allotted land. It is alleged that after this the document kept in the tehsil was manipulated on a large scale.
The land mafia got the registry and agreement to sell in the name of scheduled caste people from other districts. As soon as the land was registered in the name of outsiders, their use was changed. Along with this, the compensation of crores of rupees was lifted from the Greater Noida Authority for government land.
Land mafia occupied the land, got jailed for protesting
On behalf of the village society, the landless families of the scheduled castes were given land pattas. When he came to take possession, the land mafia was already occupied there. On protesting, the land mafia filed fake cases against him. Several complaints were also made to the local police and administration officials in the matter, but no action was taken. The DGP handed over the investigation of the case to the STF.
