As per the available information, the elderly man took the distressing step of ending his life by leaping from the Vaishali metro station, located within the jurisdiction of the Kaushambi police station area. This heart-wrenching incident transpired around 2.50 pm. In response to this tragic event, the local authorities have initiated an investigation on the scene. The deceased individual has been identified as a resident of Meerut.
The elderly gentleman who tragically ended his life by leaping from the Vaishali metro station has now been identified as Mukesh Jain. He resided at Niwari PL Sharma Road, Lalkurti, Meerut. In response to this heart-wrenching incident, the family members of Mr. Jain have arrived at the Kaushambi police station. At present, the family is contemplating the necessity of conducting a post-mortem examination.
