Delhi News | Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has called an all-party meeting on January 30 before the budget session of Parliament begins. In the meeting, support will be sought from all the parties for the smooth conduct of the budget session. Leaders of various political parties will be present to discuss the smooth conduct of the Parliament session under the chairmanship of the Speaker.

At the same time, in the meeting, the government has called with the leaders of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha to discuss how to do the work and also keep in mind the opposition’s demand for discussion. The budget session of Parliament Part 1 will start from 31st January and will continue till 11th February. The budget will be presented in the Lok Sabha on February 1. The budget session of Part 2 will start from March 14 and will continue till April 8. The budget session of Parliament will run in two shifts.

The Chairman of Rajya Sabha has called a meeting of the leaders of Rajya Sabha at 5 pm. It will be headed by M Venkaiah Naidu. The Budget Session of Parliament will begin on January 31 at 11:00 AM, with the President of India addressing both the Houses in a joint session, after which the Economic Survey will be presented.

General budget on February 1

Only five days are left for the general budget of the country to come. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the budget on 1 February 2022. This will be the 8th budget of the Modi government after coming to power in 2014. This budget is expected to be populist amid the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic and rising inflation.

On Thursday, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla announced the launch of a digital app of Parliament. He tweeted, the new era of Digital India is flourishing in every corner of India. The parliament of the largest democracy is also expanding the digital footprint. The Digital Parliament App is a step in this direction.
