Weddings and funerals allo0wed up to 200 people. There will be no Chhath Puja on the banks of Yamuna, artificial ghat will be built. DDMA issued order, District Officer will build Ghat with the help of concerned agencies.

Permission has been given to organize Chhath Puja in Delhi, but this time Chhath Puja will not be organized on the banks of Yamuna. Instead, the Revenue Department will identify different places and prepare the worship ghat with the help of other agencies including MCD, DDA. Chhath Puja will be organized in public at these places. On the other hand, cinema halls, theaters and multiplexes will open with 100% capacity.

Weddings and funerals will be allowed up to 200 people. Chhath Puja will be organized at the ghats built by the Delhi government and schools will be open for children. Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has issued an order in this regard. At the same time, the Education Department has also prepared AOP for schools. The order of DDMA will come into effect from midnight of November 31.

DDMA has said in its order that this year Chhath Puja will be held at the identified places. Chhath Puja will not be organized at any ghat of Yamuna. Each district magistrate will develop the puja ghats in his area with the help of agencies like MCD, DDA, DJB, DPCC, Forest Department, Irrigation and Flood Control Department. This is where pu0blic worship will be organized.

The DM will give permission to organize events in non-containment zones and designated places only. Government resources will be made available for organizing the worship after identifying the designated places by the District Magistrate.

All the concerned agencies including MCD will collect all the material available there after worship and dispose it properly. At the same time, no Chhath fasting person will be able to throw any kind of worship material, food, oil and anything else in the Yamuna. It will be the responsibility of the Deputy Commissioner of Police of the district that the material is not thrown in the Yamuna river. Failure to do so will result in action.

Theaters , Cinema Hall opened with Full capacity

Cinema halls, theaters and multiplexes in Delhi can be opened at full capacity from November 1. Their owners will have to ensure that they will be responsible for strictly following the corona rules in the campus. He will follow the standard operating protocol (SOP) and official guidelines of Covid. All the people in the cinema hall premises will have to compulsorily behave in the appropriate manner of Covid.

200 People allowed in Marriage Party

DDMA has increased the number of people attending weddings. Now the procession can go out with 200 people. Whereas till now this figure was 100. On the other hand, DDMA has given permission for 200 people to attend the funeral.
