Xiaomi’s first smart TV was launched in 2018 and since then 7 million i.e. about 7 million TV have been sold.
Another achievement has been added to Omi India. Xiaomi, the number 1 smartphone and smart TV company in India, has sold more than 7 million smart TVs in the last three years. Xiaomi’s first smart TV was launched in 2018 and since then 7 million i.e. about 7 million TB have been sold. Xiaomi has recently introduced Smart TV under the Redmi brand. According to the company’s claim, the highest demand in the Indian market is for Redmi Smart TV X 50 inch, Mi TV 4A 32 inch and Mi TV 5X 43 inch.
Speaking on this achievement, Ishwar Neelakantan, Smart TV Category Lead, Xiaomi India said, “The Smart TV business market has doubled from 2018 to 2021 and we take pride in our role in this. We are very happy with the love we have received from Indian customers and will continue to expand our portfolio in the market. In the coming time, we will introduce TVs with new technology and features, so that the user experience is also doubled.
Now continuously 4K TVs are being introduced towards Xiaomi India. Earlier only Mi TVs were sold in the Indian market but now Redmi Smart TV is also available in the market. Only smart TVs of Xiaomi are present in the Indian market. The aim of the company is also to take non-smart users to Smart TV.
Just last month, Redmi India has introduced two new models of TVs in the Indian market under its Redmi series, which include 32-inch and 43-inch models. Both these Redmi TVs have been introduced for all round smart entertainment experience. Features like DTS Virtual X, Android TV 11, Dual Band Wi-Fi, Auto Low Latency Mode, PatchWall 4, Dolby Audio have been provided in these TVs of Redmi. The starting price of these smart TVs of Redmi is Rs 15,999.
