Noida News | Police Commissionerate’s IPS Luv Kumar has been promoted to IG rank and Bharti Singh has been promoted to DIG rank. In a simple ceremony organized at the Police Commissionerate Headquarters, Luv Kumar and Singh, who were promoted by Police Commissioner Alok Singh, were honored by felicitating them with stars and badges.
Promoted to the rank of IG, Luv Kumar is an IPS officer of 2004 batch and is currently holding the responsibility of Additional Commissioner of Police in the Commissionerate. Luv Kumar became DIG on January 1, 2018 after getting promotion from Noida itself. After this, after the implementation of the Police Commissioner system in Gautam Budh Nagar, he is working on the post of Additional Police Commissioner.
He has also been the SSP of Gautam Budh Nagar. Whereas Bharti Singh, who has been promoted to DIG rank, is a 2007 batch IPS officer and has been posted as SP Crime in Noida and is currently handling the responsibility of Additional Commissioner of Police (Headquarters in-charge).
