Noida News | Beta-2 police station has busted a gang selling parts after stealing the vehicle in Delhi. Police arrested four accused from near Alpha Commercial Belt and recovered a huge quantity of parts from Najafgarh on their behest. The arrested accused have been identified as Yasin, a resident of Bulandshahr, Nazrul Hasan, a resident of Garhmukteshwar, Lal Bahadur, a resident of Azamgarh, and Hardeep Singh Oberoi, a resident of Paschim Vihar, Delhi.
Gang leader Barola Noida resident Dushyant Chauhan along with Aas Mohammad and Sanjay are absconding. The accused used to steal the vehicle and park it in Noida’s Sector-122 Sarfabad garage. They were taken to the godown located in Najafgarh, Delhi with the help of recovery vans by preparing fake documents of the vehicle being 15 years old and changing the number plate. Where they are cut and sold separately in Mayapuri and other places.
The accused used to park the vehicles in Smile Garage located in Sector-122 Sarfabad of Yasin. Dankaur resident Aas Mohammad lived in the garage, who was identified with Hardeep Singh Oberoi. He used to do car deals over the phone. Hardeep used to send the driver Lal Bahadur from the recovery van (crane) with fake number plates (which are found to be correct on checking online).
At the same time, Dushyant used to make an RC of the car being older than 15 years from Sanjay, a resident of Delhi. Due to which the police checking was shown on the way. Lal Bahadur used to take the car and get it cut in the godown of Hardeep Singh Oberoi in village Bapraula of Najafgarh area.
Over 50 vehicles stolen
According to the police, in the interrogation of the accused, only 25 vehicle thefts registered in Beta-2 police station have been revealed. At the same time, the accused have stolen 50 vehicles so far from the areas of Surajpur, Bisrakh, Sector 49, Sector 58, Dadri etc. The accused used to break the lock of the car with a tiny tool used to puncture the tubeless tyre.
