Noida FONRWA Elections – Yogendra Sharma has also registered victory for the second consecutive time in the Fonerwa elections. He got 140 votes in total.
There was a scorching heat for the election for almost a month. Yogendra Sharma and NP Singh panel had filed the form. Despite rain on Sunday, the voting process began at 9.30 am. Police force was also deployed to ensure that there is no disturbance in the election.
The polling station was set up in the community building of Sector-52. Four booths were made here to follow the Covid rules. A total of 220 voters had to vote, but four voters did not reach the voting process. Of these, one is hospitalized, while three were out of town. In this case, a total of 216 voters cast their vote.
In the afternoon, the counting of ballot papers started under the leadership of retired Colonel Shashi Vaidya, the returning officer. Late evening the entire panel of Yogendra Sharma was declared victorious. General Secretary candidate KK Jain got 113 votes. His rival Sukhdev Sharma got 102 votes giving a tough fight.
