Surveillance Officer of Gautam Budh Nagar district, Dr. Sunil Dohra said that every day more than three thousand samples are being tested in government labs by the Health Department. At the same time, more than two thousand tests are being done in private labs and hospitals.
On Saturday, 1,035 new patients appeared in RT-PCR test and 106 new patients in rapid antigen test. Earlier in April-May last year, during the second wave of corona virus, the maximum number of cases were reported. On Friday, 719 patients of the epidemic were found. He said that at present more than 90 percent of the active patients are from urban areas.
