Noida News- Noida Authority decides that Road From Plastic Waste To Be Built In Noida Till October

A 500-meter long street stretch produced using plastic waste will before long come up in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida as a pilot venture, authorities said on Friday.

The 12-meter wide street stretch is proposed to come up in Sector 129, corresponding to the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and the venture is relied upon to be finished by Mahatma Gandhi’s introduction to the world commemoration on October 2, the authorities said.

A reminder of understanding for this was marked on Friday between the Noida Authority and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited as a feature of “Swachh Bharat Mission”, they said.

“The street stretch would be 500-meter long and 12 meters wide, covering 6,000 sq meter territory altogether. The whole stretch would be made of utilized and waste plastic in an offer to lessen contamination through the plastic.”

The understanding was marked by Noida Authority General Manager Rajeev Tyagi and BPCL’s Executive Director Sanjay Bhargava, it expressed. The undertaking would be supported by the BPCL, it included.

This is the first time in Noida when the road will be constructed by Plastic waste.
