Gautam Budh Nagar – Greater Noida Assembly Elections – 800 new Booth will be Built
On the orders of the Election Commission, the district administration has started preparations for conducting assembly elections during the Corona period. The administration is increasing the number of booths in view of the fear of corona at the time of elections. One booth is being made for one thousand voters in the district.
800 New Booth for Greater Noida Assembly Elections
Whereas in the last election, there was one booth per 1500 voters. More than 800 booths will increase in the district during the upcoming elections. At present, there are 15.46 lakh voters in the district’s assembly voter list. The administration is also trying to add new voters. At the end of the year, there will be a campaign for the revision of the voter list.
Due to which the number of voters is expected to increase. The Election Commission has been ordered to make all the preparations for the elections according to the Kovid guidelines. On the orders of the commission, the administration is making preparations to control the crowd at the booth on the day of polling. According to officials, this time the number of booths is being increased in the elections.
At present, there are 1525 booths in the district. More than 800 new booths will be made in this election. So that there is no crowd at the booth at the time of voting. If there is a change in the voter list, the number of booths will be increased.
