Greater Noida News | Goods worth lakhs were burnt after a fire broke out in two flats in Greno West’s Galaxy Vega Society on Sunday night. The fire had started in the 17th floor flat. Soon his flames reached the 18th floor flat. Firefighters with the help of local residents brought the fire under control in about an hour. At the same time, residents have alleged that the fire system of the society is not working. Victims and society residents have complained to the police and demanded an investigation, compensation for the damage and repair of the fire system.

Flat number 1702 of the 17th floor of Galaxy Vega Society’s D Tower is closed for the last one and a half years. The flat belongs to Surendra Singh. A fire broke out in the balcony of the flat at around 2.15 pm on Sunday night. Soon the fire took a formidable form. The flames reached Roopal Kumar’s flat number 1802 on the 18th floor. There was chaos in the society when both the flats caught fire. People started trying to control the fire. On getting information, the fire brigade also reached the spot. The fire was brought under control after about an hour of effort. Goods worth lakhs of rupees have been burnt due to fire in both the flats. Local residents alleged that the fire system was not working and demanded the AOA and the builder to get it repaired.
Life saved by sleeping outside the bedroom
