Police have arrested two accused from Dhana Mor in Pingawan in connection with the kidnapping of a minor girl (15) and the gang rape by drinking intoxicants. The accused were identified as Junaid and Waris residents of village Karhedi, Nagina.
Pingawan police station in-charge Om Bir Singh said that on Thursday, on the complaint of the father of the victim girl, the police had registered a case of kidnapping, drugging, and gang-rape against five accused. Thereafter two accused were arrested. Search is on for the other absconding accused. In the complaint given to the police, the victim told that she is working as a watchman in a government school. He was at school on Wednesday. His wife told on the phone at around 11 pm that the daughter was not at home. Together with the other members of the family, they started searching for the daughter, and at around two o’clock in the night, her daughter was found unconscious on the track of the canal passing near the village. On regaining consciousness, the daughter told that a boy named Junaid along with four other youths had abducted them from the house on the strength of arms and took them to the canal track. Where everyone raped her by making her drink narcotics with the force of a weapon. When she fainted, the accused left her and fled.
